We are lucky enough to live in one of the most incredible locations on the planet doing what we love; using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients to make delicious food.

Every event is unique – whether it’s a corporate event, a destination wedding or a family celebration, we understand that each one is truly one of a kind….that deserves the most creative experience we can give it.

One of the joys about living in the mountains is the opportunities we get to cater “outside of the box“ where we can create memorable, signature, tailored events that no one has done before. We get to put our experience as off-site caterers to the test and plan events that we like to refer to as... extreme catering!

Ever wanted to be helicopter to a glacier at the top of a mountain for a champagne toast and canapé cocktail party or, do you want to be taken in a snow cat to a yurt in the forest in the middle winter....we can help you do that!!

No matter how large or small, how simple or elevated you want your event to be we are the people to help. Contact our sales team at cater@whistlercooks.com or on 604 938 8835 and let us get our creative juices flowing.

Whistler goes far beyond simply preparing and serving food, and instead becomes a complete experience shaped by creativity, planning, and the ability to adapt to unique environments. I like how it highlights the challenges of operating in such a dynamic location, where weather, terrain, and event scale all play a role in how services are delivered, yet the team still maintains a strong focus on quality, presentation, and customer experience. It also shows how much coordination, timing, and teamwork are required behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly, especially for large or outdoor events where flexibility is essential. Overall, it gives a strong sense of how hospitality is not just about food but about delivering memorable experiences in carefully…

Came in skeptical and left a fan, which doesn't happen often. The reasoning is sound and the examples actually illustrate the point instead of just filling space. I'd rank this among the best in its category without hesitation. You've earned a regular reader. Looking forward to whatever's next.

This post is the kind of thing you share with someone who has just started to learn more about a subject and needs a genuinely solid foundation. The writing is accessible without being simplistic and the depth is real without being overwhelming. The author manages to serve readers at different levels of familiarity without the content feeling split or unfocused. I came away more capable of thinking about this topic than I was before reading it. I've recommended this to several people already. Really well done.

Reading through this blog category has been a mixed experience overall, but this post made it worthwhile. The writing is confident without being overreaching and the content delivers on what the opening sets up. I found it genuinely engaging in a way that longer pieces on this subject don't always manage. The conclusion in particular was well-handled — it summarized without oversimplifying. I've already sent the link to two people. The kind of thing you're glad you found.

I've recommended content from this blog category to a number of people over the past few weeks and this post is the one that's consistently generated the most positive follow-up. The writing holds up under scrutiny in a way that a lot of online content doesn't. The author makes specific claims and backs them up rather than retreating into vagueness when things get complicated. That intellectual rigor is something I look for and don't always find. Worth seeking out regardless of how you come across it.
