Who doesn't love a good picnic?... Warm sunshine, beautiful scenery, tasty food and great friends.
When planning a picnic the best way to start is to choose the best spot to gather, this could be a park, a beach or a mountain top. Next is the invite list, this is the perfect opportunity for a romantic date, or you may want to invite all your family and friends and make it a celebration or you might just be looking for a sweet spot to enjoy your lunch in the sun. The only thing left to decide is what food to eat and preparing it.
But even better than the do-it-yourself mode of preparation is the takeout option, here’s where we can help! We have some great grab and go options available from both Hunter Gather and Whistler Cooks... Everything on our menu at Hunter Gather can be taken away in handy boxes that can be transported anywhere you desire. We also have a whole range of meals to go catering options available from from a boxed lunch which comes with our daily salad, fresh baked sweet treat, seasonal whole fruit & bottle of water. We also have a range of small bites and platters available that are perfect for picnics!
With all the incredible lakes and mountainscapes in here, Whistler is loaded with picnic potential, here’s our favourite places to picnic in Whistler:
If you’re short on time, or are just looking to stay close to the village, then Rebagliati Park is a great place to go. Tucked away between Upper and Lower Village
Head up Whistler or Blackcomb Mountain, hike one of the mainly trails and picnic, or even picnic on the chair lifts.
Go to the beach, Whistler has 4 lakes that are all accessible via the valley trails a few of our favorites are Lost Lake Park, Rainbow Park or Lakeside Park (both on Alta Lake)
At the Train Wreck, sit and eat amongst the box cars covered with art and local graffiti.

Not gonna lie, this particular one turned out not bad at all.
Initially, I thought it would be same as others, yet ended up going through it.
There’s something about how things are explained that feels more natural, even if it’s not perfect.
Randomly, I checked out https://infowomenspace.com earlier today and noticed something close in style, like someone actually writes for people.
A few points felt relatable, and that’s something you don’t see often.
Not sure if it matters but, it didn’t feel overloaded.
Anyway, well done on this — probably will check more.
Not sure yet but see what else you have.
